Last week, Cycling ’74 released Max 7.1 which features numerous exciting addition. One of my favorite is the Package Manager, it lets you explore and install new libraries directly from within Max in a couple of seconds. Zsa.descriptors 1.0 is approaching… It reached the release candidate stage… we’re polishing the documentation, and trying to make some examples. This new version includes a new object to calculate MFCC as well as some improvements (particularly in zsa.dist).
You can now download the SBCM paper (with some minor correction). We couldn’t present it on Monday in Recife because the workshop in São Paolo was happening at the same time, so we made a movie of the presentation in the hotel room… It was (hum) an interesting challenge.
Our paper is finally accepted for SBCM 09 (10 papers accepted against 46!). After the final last minute corrections, it will be uploaded in the Papers section.
A new version is available which includes a new object called zsa.dist which calculates various kind of distances on list. It is especially useful in conjonction with zsa.bark~ or zsa.mel~. Have fun!
